A Ray of Hope

As some of you know, I had a bad week last week (hint: I was still employed a week ago today).  But today, upon seeing this, I think things might be looking up.  Even if Safeway was out of my usual brand of lettuce.

  1. Oooh! Great pictures!

And there’s different brands of lettuce? I never noticed.

LD: Saying that they were out of heads of lettuce just didn’t go with the flow of that sentence. So, technically, they were out of heads of lettuce, but they were also out of the brand of lettuce that I usually get, as well.

  2. Hope you find your favorite cabbage soon. Here’s another quote from my best philosopher. But meanwhile, we must appreciate that we are not cabbage-less. To quote textSensei:

Gratitude makes a person modest. A sense of gratitude expands the heart.

    LD: Lettuce, not cabbage. 🙂

  3. You know, I don’t think about rainbows very often. But I’m staring at your pictures and realizing: rainbows are seriously amazing!

Hope you can get your lettuce soon! My lettuce went bad before I could eat all of it. 😦

LD: Yeah, that happens to me, too. I’m going out today to buy some, so I’ll keep you posted. 🙂
